Terms of use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Slingr when you use the Slingr website and Chrome extension. By signing in, you agree to them.
What Slingr is
Slingr is a tool for students doing cold outreach: it helps you research a person from pages you choose, drafts emails in your style, and reminds you to follow up. It is run by Sambhav Jain and is in beta, so features may change.
Plans
- The Free plan is free.
- Pro is listed at ₹199 a month and is free for early users during the beta. If paid Pro starts, you'll be told in the app first and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.
- Daily draft limits apply on every plan and may change to keep the service running for everyone.
Using Slingr responsibly
- Send personal, one-to-one emails. Don't use Slingr for spam, bulk or misleading email, or anything that breaks the law (including anti-spam and data-protection law).
- Only add pages you're allowed to view. Slingr reads a page only when you click; don't try to use it to scrape or automate LinkedIn or any other site, and follow those sites' own terms.
- You're responsible for every email you send. Slingr never sends email for you: it opens or saves a draft, and you choose whether to send it.
- Keep your Google account secure; you're responsible for activity on your Slingr account.
AI-written drafts
Drafts are written by AI from the pages you add. Slingr is told to use only facts from those pages, but AI can still get things wrong. Read every draft and check names, facts and claims before you send it.
Your content
What you add (your profile, samples, contacts, pages and emails) stays yours. You let Slingr process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and liability
Slingr is provided "as is" during the beta, without promises that it will always be available, error-free or right for your purpose. To the extent the law allows, Slingr isn't liable for indirect losses (such as missed opportunities or replies), and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Slingr in the previous 12 months.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account. Slingr may suspend accounts that break these terms, for example by sending spam.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction. If the terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told in the app first. Questions: sambhavj2006@gmail.com.
